For the report, IDC interviewed seven organisations, small to large, with employee numbers ranging from a few hundred to over 20,000.
Businesses reported winning more business contracts thanks to hyperconvergence, being able to deploy, maintain and support Dell EMC easily and across the board, they reported experiencing far fewer impactful application and system outages. The reduction was rated at 98%, a number legacy systems can never hope to match.
